Guideline value is the minimum price per square foot or square meter that the Tamil Nadu government fixes for property registration. You cannot register a property below this value. It is used to calculate stamp duty and registration charges during any property transaction.

Click on Guideline Value
On the homepage find the Guideline Value option in the top menu or under Services. Click it to open the search page.
Select Your Zone and District

Select SRO and Village
Choose your Sub-Registrar Office from the dropdown. Then select the Village or area name. In cities like Chennai and Coimbatore there are multiple SROs so make sure you pick the right one for your locality.
Enter Street Name and Search
Type your street name and click Search. The guideline value per square foot will appear on screen. This is the current government-fixed rate for your specific location.
